First 100 Days
David’s 100-Day Plan for Stratford starts with opening the doors at Town Hall. He will hold weekly public office hours, so residents can sit down with their mayor face-to-face — no appointment needed. He will launch a full financial audit to uncover inefficiencies and waste, ensuring the town budget works for Stratford families. David will establish Neighborhood Advisory Councils in every district, giving residents real power and a seat at the table. He will initiate a top-to-bottom review of the Stratford Police Department’s training, staffing, and community engagement practices — not to punish, but to build stronger public trust, invest in our force, and ensure safety for all. He will immediately begin working with teachers, school leaders, and families to rebuild trust between Town Hall and the Board of Education. He will begin building a real economic development strategy focused on growing the grand list, attracting sustainable businesses, revitalizing underused properties, and delivering long-term tax relief. David will work with the Commission on Aging and local veterans' organizations to identify service gaps and immediately strengthen support for seniors and veterans. Lastly, before the first 100 days are done, David will host a public town-wide forum — not a speech, but a conversation — to bring Stratford together and begin a new chapter built on unity, action, and accountability.
